Upbeat repetitive.

An interesting one.

Funny also repetitive not dark in any shape or form, happy.
What sort of music would you expect from a science fiction film?
A serious piece of music, to go with some sort of experiment.

Diegetic - In this clip you would probably hear the person who plays the beast soothing the horse before it makes a loud neigh, also their would be the backing track where they were.
Non-Digetic - you can hear them talking to one another, and at 0:17 you can hear belle and her footsteps on the snow, and at 0:31 you can hear the knives clattering on the plate.

Foley is the recorded sound affects to add in after the movie.
You haven't quite understood the terminology.
ReplyDeleteDiegetic = anything that you would hear IF YOU WERE IN THE SCENE. E.g dialogue, footsteps etc.
Non-diegetic = anything that has been added that only the audience can hear. E.g. Music, narration etc.
Soundtrack = ALL sound in a film
